SHEESH...  We've come a long way since the 'Clapper'!

Now check out these rapidly evolving (but not rapidly enough!) technologies that will change your world:

Fuel Cell power source: These guys have started shipping compact fuel-cell power sources in Europe.  Much higher energy density than battery power sources, and when it runs out of juice, just pop in another cartridge instantly for another 20-30 hours of power!

Luxeon Star This fast-evolving technology is the next generation of lighting.  You'll see it first in flashlights and automobile headlights!  As of mid-2003, products with the new, blindingly bright FIVE-watt Luxeon Stars are showing up in products, such as Surefire Flashlights.  Efficient, never burns out, not hot.

Smartpaper Looks like a sheet of plastic, but is actually a display screen!  May eventually be used to replace conventional books.
