July 4th, the Fremont Independence Day Parade was in the Irvington District this year, and it was a BIG event!:
July 15, Christina from JACL Volleyball put on her Wacky Volleyball Tournament. Cam observes a blue volleyball and Boyd & Kimmy intently:
July 16, Paul n Sherry n Kyra n Miles have MOVED BACK FROM HONG KONG!!!! Yay, now the cousins can play together:
August 2nd, we go on a hot (Cam-less) date! NUMMI factory tour, Scharffenberger gourmet chocolate factory tour, lunch, and a movie!
August 5th, we checked out the SF Zoo with Nick & Sue & Maya & Zoe. None of us had been there for many many years. The recent remodels made it a very very nice zoo and we got a day of fog-free weather.:
August 18th, I joined Carlton and Joseph (8 years old) for a rigorous 4-mile (each way) 2500 ft elevation gain rocky trail hike to the top of Upper Yosemite Falls...a hike that Carlton and I had last done in 1987 with Brian, Ben, Nick, and John.
The cascading pools of water just above the falls were gorgeous and the flow safe enough for us to go play in.
We dared to venture on the little cliff ledge above a vertical 1500' drop next to the Upper Yosemite Falls:
August 29, Cam hits his first wiffleball!
August 22nd, Lynn visits from Texas with Juliana. Eileen brought Mina, Jayson, and Aaron.:
Aug 26, we went to Tim & Nancy's picnic at Briones Regional Park. We forgot to take pics of Tim & Nance! But here's Cam playing frisbee golf and scoring a hole-in-one!
Aug 27th, Cam's cousins Kyra & Miles come over for a pool play date!:
August 30th, we bought a new (well, used 1999 in great condition) boat! See more pics of our test run at the 2006 Power Machinery page!
Labor Day weekend, we headed up to Reno to the Reno Rib Cookoff, to tour Portola, and to go to a fantabulous PARTY! CLICK to see a page of this event! Mark joined us at the end of the weekend and helped put on Cam's shoes!
Sep 9th, Fremont 50th Anniversary celebration at Lake Elizabeth Park. It was a grand affair, with 4 stages of live music, 3 stages of song/dance/exhibition, local restaurants serving food, and fun for everyone. Cam enjoyed playing with stickers in the bookmobile, but was scared by an aggressive duck. He enjoyed his free inflatable bird, climbing on an old firetruck, and riding Dad's shoulders while holding onto his face.:
Sep 10th, Stevenson's 2nd Bday party at Ben & Anna's house.

October 7, we went to Tarantula Fest at Coe Park for a good time eating a fine fresh-cooked lunch, making tarantula art, holding tarantulas, and touching snakes:
October 7 in the evening we went for a fun time with good friends and family. Malibu Gran Prix, Skeeball, catching bubbles in the stairwell, and a nice dinner at were all in order.

Halloween Fun October 21 & 28 Perry Family Farms Pumpkin Patch & hayride at Ardenwood Farms & Navlet's Pumpkin Carving with Eileen's family, Mark, and some family.
November 5 Popular Science & Sunset Magazine's 5.5 million dollar House of the Future in Pleasanton.
