After 4 days in New York, we headed out to Boston with Cam navigating in the backseat.  "DARN maps, I can NEVER in my whole life figure out how to fold 'em up"

We stopped in Connecticut at the biggest military submarine manufacturing yard and took a tour of a nuclear powered submarine!

Dave grew up in Lexington, a suburb of Boston (20 miles away).

Here's the 1st house he lived in...a bit smaller than he remembered.  We found the clearing in the thick forest behind the house where he used to play.

Here's the 2nd house, also with a nice forest behind it.  Same owner that the house was sold to 20+ years ago was there.

Amazingly, the school and the local farm store (1 block away) were still there!  Same store owners too.  Dave's Mom's best friend Sophia also still lives in Lexington, so we went and had dinner with them at their amazing house.

We took Cam to the Boston Children's Museum.  WOW, what a humongous place for kids of all ages to play in.  Just amazing.  All kinds of different theme/activity areas.

Cam has just begun to take 'solid' food.  He can sit himself up, and is just beginning to try to crawl.

These lifelike replicas, enlargements, details of flowers and plants are MADE OF GLASS by HAND!  There are 2000+ flowers in the collection!  Truly amazing.

And the famous, recently completed Boston Big Dig tunnels.  12 miles of tunnels underneath Boston, built at the cost of more than 2 BILLION dollars per mile (not to mention delays and hassles).

And off we go, headed back home.
