July 1-4, we took Cam CAMping for the 1st time See separate page.

July 6th, meeting up with Lynn and Eileen:

July 8th, 1st birthday party for Aren (Andy & Anne):

July 9th, Dave goes paintballing at Paintball Jungle with Carlton and the EBMUD crowd:

July 16th, Tech Museum of San Jose:

July 26th, Joseph and Maria come over to play:

July 30th, Berkeley Kite Festival.  What a difference a year makes!  Last year we also went to the kite festival, Linda was 6 months pregnant.  Nick & Sue ran off to the NICU to feed Maya, then came back.

August:  we made a trip to Oregon (Portland and Columbia River Gorge areas).  Click to see page of that trip.

August 20th, Maya and Cam caught on surveillance camera, secretly trading bits of food:

August 27th, Wai, Lydia, Grant, and Cole visit the Bay Area from Oregon, so we headed to the pool and also whipped up a big ol' BBQ dinner:

September:  we head up to Tahoe (for the fifth time this year...urp), to celebrate Andy's 40th bday in style at a Stateline cabin.  See separate page.

Sep 10th, 1st birthday party for Stevenson (Ben & Anna).  Cam, Luke, and Maya play in the bounce house:

Sep 11th, hanging out with the Yee family at our house and a side trip to Fry's:

Sep 14th, Oakland Zoo with Brian & Luke.  WOW, they've improved the place tremendously since we were kids!  Even since last year, for that matter...    We caught the tigers in an unusual daytime play session.

Sep 17th, 4th birthday for Patricia (Fenny & Richmond):

Sep 17th, "Hi Grandpa, feed me some more fish!!"

Oct 1st, Dave & Andy fix Anne's car...removing the intake manifold, throttle body, and many unknown items was a !@#$!$@% but we darn fixed the darn machine...at midnite or so...and it ran.:

Oct 8th, we went to cousin Sunny's wedding reception!

Oct 23rd, we visited Wendi at the Art Explosion Open Studio in SF.  Dave hadn't seen Wendi for more than 10 years!  Wendi has made a diverse range of absolutely excellent clay sculpture art with her bare hands.  Very impressive.

Oct 29th, we went to a big Halloween Party put on by the FUN Mother's Club:

Nov 6th, Dave went rallycrossing and WON against 35 competitors!!  See power machinery page. 

Nov 12th, visit Maya to play:

Nov 24th, Carlton's nth Annual Turkey Day Football.  Record turnout of 20+:
