From Japan, we headed over to Hong Kong to visit Paul, Sherry, Kyra, and Miles. Having lived there for almost a year, it was great having them show us the best of Hong Kong!    The spider-infested hiking trail in the hills of Hong Kong Island,  the local farmer's market, and the dai pai dong outside seafood restaurants...

We also got to see the newest member of their family, Miles!  Dave was also able to reassert his role as Kyra's favorite uncle.  Of course, he had to re-earn the title by playing dolls with Kyra and giving Kyra her first cow flashlight!

Kyra posing for the camera... showing us her "SURPRISED" look

or did she try this Hong Kong "Tense Up" medicine?!

As side trips, we went to a neat seafood area on the other side of the Island, where locals were selling all sorts of clams, fish, and octopus from their boats-- now that's FRESH!!

and took the hydrofoil out to Macau, a former Portuguese colony.  We visited the ruins of St. Paul and the old Fortress.
