Dave tried the halfpipe on his snowboard...ahem, not much to write home about, then strapped on skis and skied the double-diamond Headwall (better).
We got to ski with Joseph, the Speed Demon...also the Crashaholic ;)
May: Nick flies a plane and buys a Miata, soon after buying a house and getting married! What will he do next? Have a baby?!
May 8: Dave n' Linda's bday bbq party: another party with good food, good weather, good times, and lots of bouncing in the bounce house!
May 31: Anne & Andy babyshower We had lots of good food and difficult baby games, like "Guess the baby food flavor," "What's in the diaper?" and the Durian Fear Factor: How much of it can you eat?
July 4: USS Hornet (aircraft carrier) Independence Day festivities A fun way to celebrate the fourth... tour Alameda's historic carrier during the day and then stay for music and fireworks at night!
Aug 1: Berkeley Kite Festival: Take a picnic and go watch the kite flying competitions or go fly your own kite. Nick tests out his new, faster kite. Maybe he'll enter the competition next year!
Aug 14: Dave's-side-of-the-Family BBQ & campover: Everyone together for the first time this year for dinner, some campfire time, and swimming.
Aug 18: Dave gets a major haircut! 85% of hair removed! T'was time for a major change.
Sep 3: Dave visits Wai in Washington (Kris & Anthony's wedding), checkin' out his new house and the Boeing air museum.
Sep 25: The Alexanders visit from D.C. and get to meet everyone's new babies!
Sep 26: We got a behind the scenes tour from Peter & Carol at the new/temporary California Academy of Sciences museum! Maria very cleverly increases the microscope magnification using a magnifying glass:
Nov 25: Carlton's 12th (or so) Annual PHS Turkey Day Football game...always a good time:
Dec 12: Paul visits from Hong Kong during a business trip to LA. and we all go eat at Kioku.
Dec 18: Zachary's 1st birthday party! Wow, time flies! R: Zach dives into his very own cake!
Dec 25: Christmas at Dave's Mom's House. We're SO full of good food... L: Aren, too sexy for his Christmas Outfit. M: David & Jun-Li visiting from Minnesota
Dec 26: Christmas at Lisa's House. We're SO SO SO full of good food... L: Cameron swimming in gifts (bear flashlight, knit hat, bears, feeding cup and spoons)
