This page NEW in September 2004 Nick's bachelor party was a fun-filled 3-day weekend up in Tahoe. It was so fun (and expensive) that it gets a huge ol' page! Seriously, 'twas a good weekend spent with good friends. Me, Ben, Brian, Shapoor, and Walt all showed Nick a good time. We didn't tell him any of the plans beforehand, just to keep him surprised. Click on the pics to enlarge On the 1st day, we went REAL rock climbing at Donner Pass (near Lake Tahoe, overlooking Donner Lake). We then went rappelling off a 150-ft cliff face:
We stayed in a little cabin at Kings Beach with a good hot tub and BBQ. We had Filet Mignon for dinner, courtesy of Chef Walt! The next day, we went ATVing on the world famous (among off-roaders) Rubicon Trail. It was a blast! Very technical in some spots. Very very scenic and quite pristine, considering how many people use it every year. It was costly, but Walt & Dave managed to sort of surprise Nick and dunk him in a pristine Lake without getting quite as wet as Nick: In the evening, we zipped up to Reno for the evening. We made Nick get launched into space in this crazy rubberband launcher ride. Then off to dinner at the local Orchid restaurant. uhh...Thai food...uh-huh: On the last day, we made Nick go off by himself on a 1200-foot parasail line 500 feet above Lake Tahoe. Gave him time to think about things. Brian goes jetskiing (4th frame) for FREE, courtesy of the parasailing company who overbooked the boat and gave him the boot: Here's Nick's point of view:
