In August, 2003, Wai, Linda, Dave, Carl, & Lisa embarked on a 10-day adventure trip in Alaska. No, not a cruise...we ain't cruise types = P We flew into Anchorage and went on a road trip! Check out pictures from the various places we went to in Alaska:

We left 'Whee Cat' in the cache: The Turnagain Arm, a very shallow but very huge and scenic inlet of water near Anchorage. Whirlpool (left) is caused by the bore tide moving in: Iditarod museum and kennels at the town of Knik. The puppies are CUTE...as puppies always are: Lake Hood, Anchorage, where you can not only 'park' your plane, but take off and land it too. That would be the life!: Don't look now, but there's a large grizzly behind you... |
