This page NEW on October 10th, 2002 March, 2003: This proposed kitchen did not get built. We moved into a new house before going thru with a new kitchen! Click HERE to see some of our completed remodel projects !(new pics of completed bathrooms)! We're beginning to plan a big kitchen remodel! Very basically speaking, we're wanting a more open feeling between the kitchen and family room, more counter space, and a bigger sink! Below are some comparison pictures of our kitchen versus what our kitchen could be with a major remodel. The pictures on the left are of our neighbor's house, which has the same floorplan but is hugely remodeled inside and out. Basically, a 'closet' was built for the refrigerator that takes up a (mostly unused) corner of the livingroom, the stove was shifted to where the fridge used to be, and the hood & overhead cabinets & oven column were removed. Here you can see the new 2nd opening to the kitchen, and the fridge closet protruding into a mostly unused corner of the livingroom. View from the livingroom:

They used custom built cabinets and granite throughout:
