We've been upgrading bits and pieces of our house!  Here are some before & after pics.

August, 2001 & summer, 2002  Master Bathroom Remodel

"Before" we had a beautiful yellow & brown & mildew-colored shower with ratty fixtures.  "After" we converted to cultured onyx panels because we're just tired of grout & mildew.  We added a nice handheld Grohe showerhead with automatic temperature control.  The "after" pic is shown before the clear glass wall & door were put in.

We remodeled the rest of the bathroom in summer 2002.  Here are some 'Before' and 'Working' shots (note the beautiful shades of paint, holes in the wall, and flowery wallpaper):

And 'After' we finished patching, painting, replacing the floor & lights (we passed the cat inspection!):

July, 2001  Guest Bathroom Bathtub Remodel.  "Before" we had (courtesy of the previous owner and his kids) a bathtub lined with cheap plastic sheeting, animal stencils, rusty fixtures, and no actual shower piping.  "After" we put in a new window, cultured onyx panels, and new Grohe fixtures.

April, 2001  Front garden area.  "Before" we had weeds, weeds, and grass.  "After" we put in edging, ground cover flowers, and irrigation.  The tree is doing better too!  Sorry, the "after" picture is fuzzy and colorless, but really, it does look good in real life!:

April, 2001.  "Before" we had a shady, unused corner of the backyard.  "After" we have tons of storage space for garden items, our earthquake kit & water, and outdoors (camping & backpacking) gear.

September, 1998-present.  "Before" the previous owner left us with a bright blue painted porch, complete with ratty fiberglass paneling and an 8-foot long fluorescent tube light fixture (taken down already).  "After" we painted the porch a more natural color, grew climbing ivy roses, and added a misting system and some shade cloth.
